Married to US citizen for 10 years, 2 children together and just got denied cause we can't locate my husbands divorce decree from the 70's which took place in the Dominican Republic.
Had lawyers search for it and tried it all, can't find it.
What will happen next?
Can't afford to loose my EAD etc. need my job to support us.
Should he just get divorced from her again? Will that do? Would we have to get remarried again as well? Or will they recognize our marriage?
Please any advice what to expect and what to do about this.
