Hello. I have searched but couldn't find anything like my question.
I married my husband in June of this year. He entered the country legally in July of last year on a Q1/I-94 visa. His visa expired on the 29th of Aug but we have been having issues with USCIS offices/paperwork and are just submitting the papers this week.
Will his 'no status' affect us even though we are married and I am a US citizen? Also when it asks me my family/given name, is that my married name or my maiden name?
