Impacts of FP before the schedule date ?

I have seen varied responses on getting FP done prior to the scheduled date. some folks say their case may have got transfered to local INS offices due to early FP than on scheduled date. I have my FP notice for 02/23 and will be out of town on business trip during that time. I would prefer to get my FP done prior to the schedule date than rescheduling it. I would appreciate if anyone can share their thoughts on impacts of early FP
