I was suprised when i recieved a letter from uscis...letter says welcome to the united states of america....you will recieved your green card in just 3 weeks...after i got that letter i was suprised because after 2 days i recieved a letter again...and it's my green card!!wow!i am happy in just 3 months after we apply for adjustment of status.i am now a permanent residence of the united states...thank you to all the people from this forum..you guys helps me alot...goodluck...

well i just did like what everybody else did,we sent all the papers that we need to send.we sent the papers for AOS and EAD last may 12,2009 after a month and 10 days i recieved my EAD card then after 3 months i recieved my green card.i dont recieved any letters telling me i have to go for any interview.but im happy i dont have any problem at all now about my green card.and i get a job right away.so goodluck...

I dont really surprise that you can get quick greencard without interview. It is all about background. If you are married, then your spouse must be a well proud American, good job, good financial status, etc. Status, and money speaks.
My husband is a pathetic so we had long time still waiting and I may never got it, also.

hi!i have the same situation as u..i got the letter from USCIS saying my application got approved and to wait for my greencard in the mail within 3weeks...just curious..when will ur greencard expire?coz as far as i know we still have to be under the 2year conditional status...anyway congrats!

thanks! well we hired a lawyer for our case..so all we needed to do was supply him with all the documents..anyway..i got here in the states last may 2009..we got married june..we applied for my change of status last week of august..we applied at the vermont office i think..then had my biometrics done october..got the USCIS letter saying that my application got approved 3days ago...so right now im just waiting for my greencard in the mail...but i think its the 2year conditional resident green card..
