my husband and i got married last aug. 24, 2009, and im not yet filling permanent resident status. but i already applied for my ssn and until now im waiting for my ssn, according to ss office it will takes 12 weeks because they will verify my documents. my question is about the Permanent resident status if they have a period of time to file or duration after you got married.
    any comments will highly appreciated.

        90 Days

Your AOS(after getting married) must be filed within 90 days of your arrival in USA. Otherwise you will be considered out of status.

What happens when you're considered out of status? Can you still file your AOS beyond 90 days?
