  • RFE regarding employment

    Hi,

I got RFE and have a question about it's legal twisted language which I want to make sure what exactly they are looking for:

One of the RFE requested is mentioned below:-

Submit a letter of employment attesting to your offer of proposed employment. This letter should be written on the company's official letterhead, citing the date you will begin working; if the position is permanent and full-time; what the position is; the position that you currently hold for the company (if any); and the salary offered.

My question is are they looking for employment interaction between me and the company before I started working with it dated back then?

or they are looking for some kind of evidence or attestation on company's letterhead that they had proposed me the job which I still hold in the same company that I am still working in dated recently?

    Thanks

They are looking for your date of hire, current position, salary, Hrs/week, position title for GC (if different from your current position) and the hrs/salary in the future.

This is a very common RFE and your lawyer and company should know what they need to provide.

I am not a lawyer and you need to consult with one to validate any info posted on the forum and discuss your case specifics. H1b Question? Read the FAQ first.
