My parents' visitor visa will be expiring, I applied I 130 and I 485

Hello,

I hope that you can shed some light on my situation..

My parents are here in US on B1/B2 visa and it will be expiring on OCT12th. I am a US Citizen I already applied for their I130 and I485 and it was sent to CHICAGO office on Sep 23rd which is the received date. I haven't gotten any notification yet...

My question here is what if I don't here anything back before OCT 12th which is the expiration date. I have been reading so many forums but, I did not get a good answer. I was wondering if they can after their B1/B2 visa expired????

As long as you applied for their I-485 before their current stay on B2 visa expires, they are fine.
