i-485 from eb3 to eb2 same employer

Hi Everybody:

My scenario is as follows:

1. I have an approved I-140 under eb3 and waiting to get the certification of my eb2 filed with the same employeer . My question is as follows:

Do I still need to file a new i-485 along with my i-140 for eb2 or can use my I-485 pending for one year under my eb3?

Just in case that I can use my pending I-485, what do we need to do?
Will my employer write a letter and what content?


Can I also file premium processing for my I-140 eb2 application?
