Is it possible to file my I-485 petition so late at this stage?

we are getting married on Aug 27th and I will be travelling in a H4 (dependant) visa. I'm jus scared scared that he wud get his 2nd fingerprinting call b4 we get married. Is it possible to file my I-485 petition so late at this stage?Also please answer my previous post.

Immihelp - Does priority date apply if you have already applied for 485

Immihelp:
I saw you post on this that says " Visa bulletin specifies how long you have to wait before you file I-485 or apply for immigrant visa. After you file I-485, USCIS processing times indicate how long they will take to approve your case."

So if I have already applied for I-485 in Sept 2007 for EB3 (during the open period when the visa bulletin goofed up), the USCIS processing times says Sept 2009, should they already have processed my GC. Or does the fact that EB3 for India is not current, I have to wait for it to become current before USCIS touches my 485? Any clairification you can provide will help a lot.
