I 130 or I 485 confused??? help

Ok so my husband lives in UK I filed the i 130 form (havent rcvd an approval yet,but according to what Im reading I should file the i 485 at the same time. My question is: If my husband lives in the UK do I still file the I 485 and is that all I need to do?

The I-485 is to be used by someone who IS already in the USA. Otherwise ur option is CP.

What does cp mean?

CP= consular processing - done in the UK in your case. You will be instructed in the approval receipt for your I-130 you get from USCIS what your options are.
