j-1 expiring end of december, want to travel before

Hi, my J-1 visa expires December 27th, 2009 and I am planning to go to argentina for vacation before that and come back to the states with aprox. one week left of visa (around december 20th), just enough time to pack my things and go back home.
will that be a problem considering I will only have one week left on the visa?

Every action by a non-immigrant visa holder, has its own consequences. The out come of any action is unpredictable as it is based on numerous factors. An immigration officer may deny your reentry, considering you an intending immigrant. Having a valid visa is one thing, satisfying the immigration officer is another. Thank you for your reply, my admissionofficer is not giving me much info... but I heard it doesn't look good if you try to reenter the country with only a few days of visa left. this is a vacation trip before going back to Israel...
