Hello,
I am applying for a spousal green card (wife is USC). A month or two ago, I applied for h1b visa extension. my current visa expires on 12/31/2009. the extension application is pending.
I was wondering if i should (or not) apply for EAD given that my h1b application is in process. If I do, will it void my h1b extension application? If yes, then I will be out of status until I get the EAD approved. Therefore, my thought was that I should not.
any thoughts/experiences?
