I was interviewed on September 9th 2009 for AOS; (my U.S citizen dad filed). Officer wrote in my passport my Alien # and wrote I:485 pending SRC. Signed her name and date. Said I should carry my passport with me to indicate I was interviewed by INS. Very very nice lady. Made copies of my EAD & I:94 but gave me the originals back. I haven't heard anything since then. Should I be worried? getting nervous.

AOS Denied
Got the denial letter today from INS. Reasons for denial my application was not filed on or before April 30,2001 and i was not in legal status. I had a feeling that would happen. My other option is cancellation of removal but my boyfriend and I want to get married. Should I just go ahead and get married and file papers? Not sure what to do. We were planning to get married in August. Now we want to move it up to my birthday which is in January. Any thoughts?Comment
