I've been married for 4 months and am applying for i-485. we did not have a wedding ceremony and got married at the courthouse. we could not afford a wedding. does anyone know if this will cause complications for bona fide marriage supporting documents. we have joint bank account, auto insurance policy and car titles, and lease showing both our names. any advice would help.

You should have some wedding pictures. I had 4 interviews with three different officers and all of them wanted to see the wedding pics. Go to some park and make some "wedding" pics to stay calm. Or have a party with your friend, dress well and call it "wedding party". Also, try to get more documents that show your marriage - life insurance, health insurance, dental insurance, sam`s club membership, blockbuster membership, utility bills etc. As I said I had 4 interviews but finally (after 3 years) was approved!
