I Need Advise!!!!!!

I am an Amercan citizen and my girl friend currently has a visitors visa can we marry and apply for an adjustment of status with petitions I-485 and I-130 so she does not have to go back to her home country. Also what documents does she need to get married in the USA. The immigration laws and rules are so complicated to me.

Any help is greatly appreciated.

you know what, if your gf is just is the US for a visit , i think she is not be able to marry you, or else if you marry her then i could suggest you to apply for spousal visa first , because it is needed.for real

She can marry you without leaving ( I am assuming she has been here for a few months) if she has just arrived, its best to wait a few months, and even if the date on her I-94 or Visa has expired, she can still marry you. She does not have to leave

Each state has its own rules as to what is required to marry...........but at the minimum you'll have to apply for a marriage license
