Th priority date on my 140 was way back in 2003. I was fingerprinted back in 2007. Since then I have not heard back from USCIS.
I had called up recently to check on my status. I was told my one person that my case was tranferred to a different office (which I knew) but when he pulled my file it was still showing the older office. He said because of that he is unable to do anything and will transfer me to someone else.
Another person told me that my case is within the time line required for preview. I kept asking my time line is from back in 2003 and I had not heard anything back since when I was fingerprinted back in 2007. All I got back was we do not have more information.
What am I missing? Are there others with similar experience? Am I to just stay put for now and keep waiting?
