Status adjustment Process (F-1 to GC)

Hi all,

I am an F-1 student with my family on F-2. My wife had her I-130 application filed by her sister approved and my name as well as that of my son is on the application.

Just need some good advise on how to approach this in terms of filing the I-485. Is she the only one to file or the three of us has to do it together ? Also do I need to apply for Employment Authorization along. I dont need Advance Parole because I just arrived in the US 6 months ago.

Is your Priority Date (PD) current? If yes follow the instruction on immihelp for filing I-485, if your PD is not current then you cannot file. Check the USCIS bulletin to find out if your date is current
