maybe add some photo proofs for the whole period of your relationships with your wife, some travels together, some mail that shows both your names on the same address. otherwise, all folders look pretty legit.

It might be worth bringing a certified translation of your Brazilian birth certificate (assuming it is in Portuguese).

              Interview Notice

              What do you guys think?
              Hello there,

Wow! That's an amazing prep. Looks good but my take is:

1.) Create a table of contents that match the List of Items in your Interview I-797 Notice of Action
2.) It makes sense to expect that the immigration officer will be asking for documents based on the Interview I-797 Notice of Action you received

There has been a lot of good resources here and it helped a lot with my preparation too, I am still waiting for an interview schedule.

But I've noticed an increase in complexity from some suggestions/recommendations posted here - and one senior member around the forums gave advice that I think is worth revisiting - your documentation and evidences should Connect the Dots for the immigration officer at the interview - as they should not be expected to make the not so obvious connections.

That's my bit for you and sending you best wishes and good luck for the interview.

              Cheers!

Great insight! and yes you're right, i might rearrange it to the bulletin points of the Interview Notice to make it easier for them. The items we're taking were requested from the NOA but i'm obviously taking a lot more.

Always good to take more, shows you are determined to get their approval, and they wont hesitate to recognize that.

                  Good luck again.

UPDATE: had my interview this morning at Oakland Park, FL. Interview was for 7:10am but we got called in around 7:30am. The officer was nice and spoke slowly, almost soothing. She asked us how we met, who attended our wedding, if we had a ceremony, how we started dating, our birthdays then she went over the application questions (yes and no questions). But then she got my medical envelope and opened it and saw that it was from August 2017. She assumed it was expired. Luckily i brought a print out from the USCIS page showing the new set rules (medical that is not submitted to USCIS has a validity of 2-years from date of surgeon signature if medical done after application submitted to USCIS). She was not aware of the new rules so she kept my medical anyway and said she would speak to her supervisor (hopefully they are aware of the new rules). At the end of the interview she gave me the "case is being held for review" paper and told me they would either send me a RFE or the green card.

All and all, it went exactly as i expected. Hopefully the wait is not long. I see other users that went to the same location and they're still waiting for a decision after the interview. Fingers crossed!

Oh and 30 minutes after the interview my case was updated from "Interview was scheduled" to "Interview complete but under review".

                      Hello Igorr,

I wonder if you got interviewed by the same officer I did lol, sounds like it.

Congrats on your interview, I hope you get your decision soon.

I called today and I requested a Service Request on my case. The Officer did a service request on my I-130 but he could not do one for my I-485 because the process is still in the processing window, its getting close to go out, another month and a half but he could not do it.

I requested to talk to a Level 2 official and I'm waiting on a call back.

My case does not even show online the interview was done and its under review, but I saw in some cases that happens as well.

                          Congrats Iggor,

                          This is great news!!

Like I said on my post before, I did a service request on my I-130 and I talked to the Level 2 officer later yesterday. He said different officers operates different ways and bla bla bla and I have to wait 120 days, they have to give me an answer by then.

I told him I had done a service request on my I-130 earlier by a Level 1 officer and I requested one on mt I485 even inside the processing time. He said he could do it but that could delay even further and that it was indeed a good idea doing on for my I-130 since that needs to be approved first.

I'm hoping this service request will create some movement on my case. I'm almost losing hope!!

NO! Never! Don't lose hope! Oakland Park is known to be.. slow. You're poking on your case, it will eventually get up and start moving. Keep doing that! You WILL get approved before 120 days, specially since your case was straight forward (i had a misdemeanor and a previous marriage).
