So I just got off the phone with an USCIS agent to ask about the update on my I485 and I765. For the I-765, I asked the agent if there was any additional update because I am CONSIDERING requesting for expedition. I guess I didn't word it well and the agent thought I wanted to make an expedition request right there and then so he proceeded it and at that time I was too scared to correct him. So now my EAD expedition request is sent with the reason being "emergency" since my husband is unemployed. My husband is unemployed but he has been the whole time, that's why I needed a co sponsor, so this is nothing new and I don't even know if it passes as an emergency (it is to us because we are moving soon).
I'm freaked out now. Will letting USCIS know about our financial problem affect their decision on our other applications (I-485 and I-130)? Like I know they want you to be financially stable so you won't become a burden to the government and I pretty much just told them, "hey, we're poor". And also, if my expedition request is denied, will it lengthen the process of my regular EAD? Like, for example, they wasted their time on my expedition request so now that wasted time will be added on the regular EAD?
