EB1-B applicant from India, PD March 2018, write to the local Congressman?

Hi,

My PD is March 29, 2018. My interview got over on Jan 31st, 2019. I am still waiting for the green card because of the back log of EB1 in Visa Bulletin. Is it worthwhile to write to the local Congressman? Has anyone done this? Please share your views on this.

You have to look at the final action dates from the visa bulletin. You can only wait until the date shown is past your PD. For EB1 born in India (don't know what -B means) the date for March bulletin is 22FEB17 and sorry to say, there is no movement for April bulletin. I don't think a local Congressman can do something until the date of the visa bulletin shows 30MAR18 or later.
