  • I-485 filling

do any of you guys filled your I-765 with your I-485?
the thing is that I got a receipt number for I-485 but not for I-765. I asked my lawyer and she said it was because of the way she send my package. is this normal ?
    (everything was send on July).

    UPDATE GUYS!!!
here is my story and timeline so far:

    *7/6/18 I send my I-130, I-485 , I-765 and I-864 all in one package.
    * I only got back 2 receipts for I-485 & I-130.
*7/10/18 website updates on I-130 we received your petition and that they would send a receipt notice that would describe how they would process my case.
*7/16/18 they accepted my fingerprint fee.
*7/20/18 I got my biometrics appointment.
*8/10/18 went to my biometrics appointment.
*8/13/18 website updates on I-485, case is ready to be schedule for an interview.

    (11months/ still NO EAD)

*6/12/19 website updates interview its been scheduled.

*6/18/19 received interview date by mail.

now here is my question.. am I the only one who didn't receive an EAD card but got an interview scheduled already? what do you guys think happened with my I-765?

I don't think is normal. From what I read, and my experience, file I-485, I-765 and I-131 together and receive NOA and case numbers for all. Some people file extra forms for family based or employment based AOS.
Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021

SweetG - I would suggest to call USCIS and confirm with them what documents they have received on your name

I don't know, but something is wrong.
I have seen forms that get rejected because: not the correct version, not signed, wrong information and all get them back. I can't find a case when a I-765 was sent in a different way by the lawyer and don't get any letter. Sorry.

I just called them and they really don't have access to anything. The only thing they could do is send them a letter questioning about the I-765 and the whole thing that happened how I receive a receipt number for the I-130 & I-485 but not this one!! and it would now take 30 days for them to reply with an answer. I really hope nothing is wrong with it and they're just working on it but it is really weird that all of you guys have receive a receipt number for all of them and I didn't because '' of the way my layer send everything''

If your lawyer sent everything, then you should received all notice for I130-i485-i765. Or if USCIS accept or reject one of those forms, they will have on their system. just call them for asking what is your receipt number for I765? I got rejected and the receipt notices haven't sent back to me but when I called USCIS, they already have my receipt number and said it was rejected and they told me they sent back to me on date bla bla bla, I should receive in 10-15 days

Anyway, if lawyer hasn't sent it, so USCIS won't process it. You can tell lawyer send again

you should receive the notice for every form you sent separate, either they accept or reject it, you should contact them and report it.

SweetG - You can even make a INFOPASS appointment online to your local office and you will get permission to directly meet one of the IO and you can discuss with them in brief. Hopefully you will get some answers from them in regards to your case.

I would call USCIS and choose the option that says you don't have a receipt number. That's how I got my receipt number until I got the letter.
