Rescheduling interview request
Hi,
I am going through a very frustrating situation right now. I got notification on February 1st that my interview was scheduled from my USCIS account. I checked my mailbox everyday and I did not see anything. On March 5th, USCIS emailed me that the notification slip for my interview was not delivered to my address and I followed their instruction to file the request "not received mailed from USCIS". They mailed me back on March 5th urgently, and I checked my mailbox every day morning and evening. On march 9th, I opened my mailbox, and the interviewed notification showed that I was scheduled on March 8th at San Francisco office. I was freaked out and called in on March 11th and March 15th. The officer told me to write the letter to USCIS office in San Francisco and filed the requested to them for rescheduling. I followed the instruction. The local office emailed me back, and they told me to fax all the evidence and the letter to their number in SF office on March 27th.
I do not know how long I should wait because my expired EAD card and the I797 notification was about to expire so I do not know what to do. Please comment any suggestions to help me and my family relieve the stress because I need to earn money for my family living.
