  • Medical needed again?

I am a USC petitioner who had had submitted I130 and I485 for parents in Oct 2017. They completed the medical and submitted in Feb 2018. Their green cared interview date is May 2019. Do they have to get the medical done again? Is the medical for I-485 only valid for a year?

The green card interview letter days days bring medical if you have not submitted but does not say anything about date or expiration. Please help?

Your medical should expire in 2 years after the day you sent to USCIS, they have announcement online on website USCIS.gov, you can search and print it out. So whatever officer interview you, you can bring the paper to him/her.

If filed before November 1, 2018 and signed by civil surgeon after sending I-485, then 2 years from the date the civil surgeon signed the form I-693:
      A. Results of the Medical ExaminationThe physician must annotate the results of the examination on the following forms:Panel Physicians
Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center
Day 1 - Package received at the lockbox
Day 999 - Card delivered to me - Aug 2021
