Validity period for Medical?

I have yet not got my I-140 approval from TSC ! Its now 8 months and I am expecting it soon and hence want to complete my medical so as to be ready to apply for I-485. Can somebody tell me how long is the medical valid?

I have heard anywhere between six to nine months. One thing for sure, though: the more recent the exam is, the better. Check into local INS-approved doctors. In larger cities, some have same-day or walk-in appointments. If that's the case, it doesn't seem worth it to take a medical ahead of time.

Before you submit them, they are valid for 1 year. After you submit them, they are valid as long as the case is pending.
