I was out of the country for 6 days. Used my AP to get back into the country, had to go through secondary screening and got paroled until end of AP.
Next morning I wake up and I get this lovely message from USCIS.
Anyone had this before? I have to travel again in 4 days and worry I don't get my letter to find out what the deal is about.
Obviously, I'm on hold now with USCIS to talk to L2

They didn't tell you when you enter back to the US that your AP is expired ?

Sorry this happened to you. Your signature is incomplete, so I have a couple of questions:
- do you have a new EAD/AP? on your signature it say that was approved on 03-26-18 so I guess that expired on 03-25-19
- I see they scheduled an interview in August/September but it was cancelled a few days later, did you get a letter like the one they are sending today?

Ah my bad, the signature is limited in number of characters and well my case has been going for a bit
They did NOT schedule a new interview for me yet, that's why i was surprised to see this cancelled message.
I do have a valid EAD/AP till march 2020

Hmm i see how that can be confusing, i got a letter on that day (sept 5) that my interview was scheduled for a certain date.
I requested to reschedule it soon after that, it took them till sept 21 to confirm that my interview will be rescheduled.
After that nothing happened on the 485/interview front.

I sure did, both for the initial EAD/AP and for the renewal.
I used expedite, ombudsman and my congressman. I think the congressman helped the most in both cases.

Still no letter in the mail, leaving the country tomorrow for travel/work.
When i talked to USCIS they said they just canceled an interview that was planned and that the case is still processing and i should get a new date at some point.
I never got an interview date though so perhaps they just got rid of my timeslot because I used AP and put me back in the line.
It's all guesswork for me, wish I got a letter and some more info before I left the country.

Got the letter .it was to Inform me that they cancelled my interview that was scheduled in October 2018! The one that u asked to reschedule .which I already got word from from the field office. This letter was from NBC .guess I'll be waiting a bit longer for my interview .good thing is our 2yr anniversary is coming up in may

I applied a month before you and received my EAD 28 days before my 180-extension expired.

I really need the AP, but I don't know my PD, so I don't know when or if I should request an expedite.

Yes i did, i was not going to wait the normal time because that currently means it will just expire before it gets renewed.
