485 Pending in USA, Medical Exam from India

Hello.

My 485 is pending and I am in India currently on Advance Parole.

Just now I received a request to submit my medical exam I693 to USCIS.

My question is, can I get the medical exam done in India (like people do it for consular processing) and mail it to USCIS in USA or will I have to specially travel to USA to just do the medical exam over there?

Usually the letter say something like 'do not send the I-693 but bring it to your interview'. Check the letter to see exactly what is said.
My guess, because you are in I-485 AOS, you need form I-693 signed by an US civil surgeon.

From what I know The medical examination can only be done by US doctors who are specifically choosen,by USCiS. So even when you are getting your medical examination in USA you have to make sure that the doctor can give you an examination for USCIS. To find a doctor you have to go to their websote and find one from the network.
