(Sorry for the typo in the title, I can't seem to fix it. I meant form I-693)
My husband and I are scheduled at the SF office for a marriage interview on May 6th. Finally, I see the green card coming into view! I've read the paperwork; and I've read numerous other posts but I seem to be more confused. Can someone tell me simply, does my husband need a new medical exam? Yes or No? He had a physical in his country before coming in on a K-1 Visa, he handed the first sealed I-693 to the immigration officer. So we no longer have a sealed or any version of the form. I'm not sure if it sticks with our case or how it works. I'm not sure what the immigration office does with it. I also read about the new policy update from Nov. 2018 that the medical exams now last 2 years instead of 1. So I'm confused! A new medical exam in my area starts at $150 (each shot is a separate fee $$ which is also expensive) so if it is not necessary, please respond. I appreciate all your knowledge and wisdom on these forums. Thank you!
