Filling I-485, J visa question

Hello,

I had Ja 1 visa in 2011 for a summer school. I couldn't travel at that time and visa expired. Then in 2017 I applied for B2 visa and I used this visa until my last arrival. Now, I am married with USC and I'm going to apply for AOS. I am confused about the part 8. 24a question.

"Have you ever been a J nonimmigrant exchange visitor who was subject to two-year foreign residence requirement?"

My visa was J1 subject of two year rule but I didn't use it. So what should I answer, Yes or No?

If you didn't enter the US with the J visa, then you were never in J status, so the answer would be No.
