l filled for Adjustment of status in Jan 2016 with my wife, a US citizen, got EAD in March and was schedule for interview in May 2016 tab Chicago office. The office was so rude and harsh by going out of context to question me which I answered to the best of my knowledge. After the interview she said case is still continuing, until a year later when I was rescheduled for another interview. We were separated and drilled on various questions. Few months later, we got a denial for not submitting enough evidence.
We changed our lawyer and resubmitted another I-485 application within one month of denial in Aug 2017. We got a new EAD within 3 months which was Nov 2017 and got scheduled for another interview for March 2018. Behold we got another officer at the interview and the interview did not last 8 minutes which he only ask few questions about my job, my wife job, my car and my wife registration number to be written down few other things. My photograph was taken and we left.
Few days later, the status was changed to Interview was completed and case must be reviewed. After this time nothingness was heard, around Aug 2018, I renewed EAD card and new card was mailed 6 months later, yet no updates on Adjustments of status.
Today April 16, 2019, I got an alert saying "my case is ready to be scheduled for a interview" we will schedule you an interview and send you a notice in the mail. I don't know what to expect anymore because this will make the 4th time appearing for interview. In the whole time, my I-30 was not approved
Please people, I don't know what to expect at this moment, what are your advice. Do I need to get a new good lawyer or go by myself? If you have been in my shoes before, what am I likely to face at the interview?
