I had my aos interview on 4/6/2019 we got there at 8:00 and the interview was at 8:30 , we we're called in like 9 and the io took my pictures and finger print and sworn I and my husband then she took my EAD and SSN and asked for my passport and made photocopy . Then she asked if we have any kids which we said yes but the issue is my husband's name is not on the birth certificate cos he was put of town when I went I had the baby cos he came 5 days early . She we explained to her but she said it's was a problem but we are correcting that now . Io asked my husband his name , where he works and dob and where he was born then asked me same and date of our marriage where did we get married . Also asked my husband how we meet and our address . Then she asked for other supporting documents we gave her our joint tax transcripts , life insurance policy , joint account , lease and she made a copy of our son's birth certificate . Till now no update . Pls I need quick response . Thanks and God bless

As an aside, have you done the voluntary declaration of paternity to have the father's name added to the birth certificate? If not, you should think about it.2019/02/27 PD

My interview was 04/04 and went pretty well, IO told us we was recommending approval but no update yet, actually they have 120 days to give an answer, so letc9 AOS Omaha, NE.

10/10/18 Biometrics appointment done.
10/16/18 Case is ready to schedule interview.
10/22/18 i765 & i131 received by USCIS.
02/09/19 Filed online AR-11 (address change) to Brownsville, Tx.
03/01/19 Interview was scheduled.
03/07/19 Notice of action for interview on 04/04/19, received (scheduled in Harlingen, Tx).Comment
