How long was your wait for the EAD card? Its been 5 months for me and still no update..

It took a little over 5 months for me....

My timeline:
- since June 2016 in US with a L1 B visa
- got married 12/13/2018 to US citizen
- L1 B visa prolonged for 2 years March 2019
- I130, I131, I 485, I 765 received on 4/26/2019
- NBC (living outside Philadelphia)
- biometrics Review done on 5/28/2019
- online, l485 is ready to be scheduled for interview (8/28/2019)
- Interview has been scheduled - waiting for the official letter (10/1/2019)

no update on I130 (status: case was received), I131 ( Status: case was received) and I 765 (Status: Fingerprint review was completed)

my lawyer advised to not to not leave the country - even with a valid L1B visa.

its quite a journey - anyone here with a similar timeline?

PD- April 29
Bio- May 30
July 2- case is ready to be scheduled for interview
Oct 1- interview has been scheduled (waiting for the letter)
I130 and I765- stuck in case was received

It's scheduled for interview? Mine never had that update... just went to card being produced.

09/30/2019 : Interview
09/30/2019 : New Card is in Production (I485)

good luck!!! I’m kind of exciting but also quite nervous. I have no word on the patrol document so I just just hope I will have a GC before Christmas to see my family

On May 1st I got an update Ready to Schedule Interview
I moved on September 17th and updated my address, so on September 20th I got another update that also said Ready to Schedule interview

Then today out of nowhere: On October 2, 2019, we cancelled the interview scheduled for your Form I-485, Application to Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, Receipt Number YYYY X. We will notify you by mail if the appointment is rescheduled, a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you.

Has anyone experience something like this? I am getting worried. My interview was never scheduled, so I don't understand how it could be cancelled, and why?

dharb there was no update online either about you being scheduled? I was scheduled (received notice) then cancelled almost right after. Normally, you would get two notices, one for the scheduled date and one for the cancellation notification.

Hello immihelp fam.April 2019 filler here,today I went to my interview with my wife in Saint Louis Missouri field office,everything went well, the interviewer was a nice lady. We were scheduled for 12:40 but we waited an hour before we got called.Once we got in,we sworn and gave our id. She basically asked me questions in the i485 form,my wife’s name,her date of birth,our marriage date and where did we meet? At the end of the interview she told us about 10 years green card since we’ve been married for more than two years. I gotta say I received a courtesy letter in July 2019 regarding my i693 medical exam which I submitted after the 60 days the civil surgeon sign. So I brought a new one at the interview, she forgot to ask me for it,that’s when i mentioned it. She says “thank you” she opened it in front of us and review everything, she saw a box that the freaking doctor did not check on part 10 which is the vaccination record.She held our case for review because of that,and gave us a white paper. She told us to not do the whole exam again just go to the doctor and make him check thethe part where the doctor should check the box that you had your vaccinations and send it to the field office after receiving a mail from them.That’s crazy!I WAS SO CLOSE TO GET AN APPROVAL.My advice to everyone make sure you check everything your Civil surgeon doing.

Chat with EMMA was quite straightforward. I then received an email to fax any proof of financial need and I faxed an offer letter and my tuition bill.

kkaren I was never scheduled an interview in the first place. It went from Ready to schedule an interview to Cancelled. Did you end up getting scheduled for a different date?

dharb no. I called in coz I was told sometime online can be a glitch but spoke to a tier 2 and was told the cancellations after it was scheduled are due to the FO, whether they overscheduled the queue for the day, IO not available, etc. I'm still, unfortunately, waiting for a resched. date and this was on 8/2 so about 2 mos. now.

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to give you an update on my status. I was an April 2019 filer for my parent's AoS.

Family-based I-130, I-485, and 1-765 filed concurrently

My service center is National Benefits Center (MSC)

4/8/19 - Application received by USCIS
4/13/19 - PD
4/19/19 - Fingerprint notice received
5/10/19 - Fingerprint date
10/7/19 - EAD Card is being produced

Based in Atlanta, GA.

I'll let you know when I get the EAD cards for my parents and any other updates.

Finally I have received my interview date - November 7th in Philadelphia.
Fingers crossed everything will be smooth. Still no update on AP / EAD
