robec whatever you do, definitely don’t rely on the case status checker because it didn’t tell me that I had a Biometrics scheduled (which made me inadvertently miss mine). My situation is perhaps slightly different from yours in that I moved house and we had mail issues but my missed appointment was actually for May 1st (before we moved). I’d make an InfoPass appointment if you can because they can tell you a lot more, including, perhaps, if you have an appointment scheduled. I was only told today when I went to to office for my biometrics that I actually had a first appointment scheduled without me even knowing it. If you’re lucky like I was, when I went for my InfoPass, they let me do my biometrics before my second scheduled date.

He said I have to wait until months have passed. Helpful huh!

Hello, I had my interview today with my husband and our interview took longer than we expected. We were nervous since we are young and a little unprepared, so we scrambled a lot of information that was true. Since it took too long the interviewer told us that she didn’t finish the application we submitted and that we should bring more evidences such as bank statements and pictures. We are afraid this could go the wrong way, but our marriage is genuine.
My question now is whether we are in danger or we have a good second chance? She never gave us any paper work to tell us what was our case, she just said that she wasn’t finished with the interview. Does this mean we are getting the rough and strict second interview?
Thank you.
