I have huge updates, havent updated in a long time but here I go, on september 19 I received an update online that said "Your interview was scheduled", after like 10 days I received on the mail the letter for my Green Card interview, the interview was today october 28, it ran for like 40 minutes, went super smooth no problems at all, when it finished the lady printed a paper that said "INTERVIEW RESULTS: Congratulations! your I-485 application has been recommended for approval and that I should receive my card within 2 to 4 weeks", never got any update on the EAD (not that I care anymore haha) nor the advanced parole (like nothing at all apart from the receipt notice) hopefully my card comes soon!!.
Good luck to everyone!!Last edited by AtomicBoo; 10-29-2019, 02:02 AM.

Updating my timeline:
PD: 4/30 for I-130, 131, 485, 765
Biometrics notice: 5/10
Biometrics done: 5/31
New biometrics notice because first set wasn’t great: 6/14
Second biometrics: 6/17
RFIE: 6/27
RFIE sent and received: 7/24.
Second RFIE: 10/17
Ready for interview: 10/23
At this point, I called USCIS and they said the second RFIE was a mistake.
Interview scheduled: 10/29
EAD card ordered: 10/29
weirdly, the above two updates are visible on my uscis but not on the case tracker.
Now I wait for the interview date.
Any tips for interviews in Philly?

But how long do I need to wait for the appointment notice.
I am trying to stay positive, but reading the other EAD threads in this forum that some November fillers is still waiting on it, is quite demotivating =.[
Hey, is there any update on your biometrics appointment notice? I’ve been waiting since July and I keep seeing on this website that people usually get there’s in about a month. It’s nerve racking for my husband and I.

Just wanted to share my timeline... AOS married to US citizen...was DACA entered with Visa & expired.
I'm in southern California. Sent to Chicago lockbox.
Case was received 7.25.19
Biometrics received 9.25.19
Scheduled for interview notice on 10.3.19
received letter for interview scheduled for 11.08.19 in San Bernardino office.
Case approved on USCIS website & card being made 11.09.19
We arrived 15 min early the receptionist told us they were running behind with AOS interviews.
Our appointment was at 11 and we finally got called in at 12:40.
Our interview went really well the IO was very chill and funny. We pretty much were just having a conversation with him about his work and our work and just random stuff and joking along the way. He didn't ask us many questions just where we grew up and then it came up that we met in high school.
He asked to see original documents like our marriage certificate, both our birth certificates and our babies birth certificate (I also had copies which he really appreciated since it saves him time).
He went through the whole application. Then afterwards I asked if he needed our family and friends reference letters and pictures, he said no that our kids birth certificate is sufficient.
He went to take copies of our IDs and when he came back he gave me a letter and said congratulations you're approved.
I think interview was about an hour maybe less.
We had a very cool IO... But they also know how to read people really well so I feel like they know when it's genuine. So as long as you're not lying or hiding anything there's no need to be nervous.
good luck to everyone!

Finally had my interview today and let me tell you.... that was not a fun experience! We got a nervous trainee with a strict supervisor for the interview. The supervisor was there to make sure the trainee didn't make any mistakes and didn't forget to ask anything so she went through EVERYTHING..... She looked so cranky it made me nervous. So now we are back to the waiting-game. I expect an RFE for a tax document which I knew we didn't have yet but other than that I do think it went fine.
