If you have your GC, then you use that to return to USA.
If you don't have SSN card, go to your nearest SS office with your GC and ask about it.Nov 2018 - Package sent - EB - Texas Service Center

nobody would get a GC without step by step process
so if you explain your case and you time line than people would get some idea
this site is not for a joke and there are many people struggling and very stressful

Not sure where the joke is....
Aeva is just asking if he needs to go get his social security card or will it come automatically. No, you have to go apply.
And whether he still needs travel document with a GC, no you don't.Anything I post is personal opinion or information from personal experience. This is not legal advice.
