Interview this week and I had filled 2018 tax return with my wife we sent everything to IRS but no response yet. I am just confused because the AOS officer would probably ask for it during our interview. Does anyone know what we can do pls

if you e-filed your taxes than you have the proof to show .if you paid in person you should have the copies or your payment such as check or money order stamped by IRS. if you did by mail than you should always have copies of your tax filings so you can show to USCIS during the interview ! so one way the other if you have the copies of IRS filings that would work for USCIS

if you have filed the tax return, you should have some kind of proof to prove it, make sure you bring that and show it. if you had filed tax together in 2017, make sure you bring that too!
