My husband is also a marriage based filer and his PD is 9/27/18. We are also in VA, Washington DC field office and his status changed to ready to schedule interview 45 days ago, so we are in the same boat. I have read other postings and there were a couple of people who were August 2018 filers that got their interviews scheduled 3-4 months after their status changed, but their status changed to ready to schedule interview shortly after they filed....One had a PD of 8/23/18 and his status changed on 9/27/18 to ready to schedule interview and he received his notice on 1/24/19. Another person also in the Washington field office had her PD as 8/22/18, her status changed to ready to schedule interview on 11/9/18 and she received the notice on 2/14/19. Based on these two filers here in the VA region I assume that getting a notice for the interview won't take took long...What is your PD?

your priority date is fairly recent and your case has moved up very fast, since it has already changed to ready to schedule interview....I know each case is so different and nobody knows the order USCIS process these cases...My husband's status just changed to ready to schedule interview almost 6 months after we filed. It has been 49 days since his schedule changed now. Any changes in your status? I assumed that Washington DC filers get their notice in the mail after about 3-4 months after their status changed, based on those other timelines that I mentioned above. Hopefully it will be faster for us

I wonder why your status just changed after 6 months. Did you receive any RFE? Yes. I really thought it was fairly pretty fast at first having changed to schedule for interview just 1 month after filing. But it has been 42 days now since the last status update, no changes yet.
No idea why it took so long to change...I have read other postings when people's status did not change at all, just like my husband's and they went months without getting any updates and not knowing where they were in the process. We did not have any RFE, but like I said his status didn't even change to fingerprints reviewed or nothing and it took him forever not only to get his EAD, but to get in line to have the interview scheduled. I really think they process cases at the NBC based on how easy/difficult they are...I have noticed that people who have either H1B or F1 status tend to get processed in front of others because their case may be easier to process...that's just my observation...My husband has been out of status for 26 years here in the U.S. and even though he has no prior criminal record, I assume his fingerprinting/case in general took longer to be processed through NBC because of that compared to somebody else's case who may have been here for less time or may not be out of status yet, like people who have F1 and H1B
I have seen a couple of other people from DC field office that got their notice to ready to schedule interview after 1-2 months of their PD and then they get a notice for the interview 3-4 months later. I would not worry if I were you, even though I know it's stressful, but your case is moving faster than others (like in our case), so you will more likely be receiving a notice in the next couple of months. Consider yourself luckyThere is nothing we can do but wait and trust me, I know how frustrating it is to wait for USCIS' grace to process all these cases as it took me 8 years myself to get my I485 through employment based. Hang in there and let's continue to share our timeline in case we get any updates online or in the mail
BTW, have you got your EAD yet? I'm assuming you haven't since the were people in September still waiting to get theirs...One of the people in the DC field office that I read got his EAD on 1/23/19 and a notice for interview on 1/24/19, so I would not be surprised based on your timeline that you will be receiving your EAD card about the same time that you get the notice for the interview....

Your status changed to ready for interview after 3 months since your combo card was issued. Did you receive any RFE, or just no updates for that 3 months?
