Certified copy of marriage document

Hi guys,
I've got a question. On the interview notice it says that I need:
A certified copy of your marriage document issued by the appropriate civil authority.

What did you guys bring with you? Is it something they will keep or can I just take the original marriage certificate that I got from the city hall? That's the one I sent a copy of with my application.

I'll be bringing one of the certified copies that i got from the courthouse (i got 10 or so for $10).
Would you be able to get one easily? I think i read mixed stories on what they keep and what they dont.
