  • Upcoming interview - Do I have to brig I-864?

    Hello!

I received today my notice for my upcoming interview (Newark, NJ - June 6th) - I'm a September 2018 filer.

As part of the items listed that I should bring with me, there is a "Affidavit(s) of Support (Form I-864)" item. Do I have to actually fill up the form, or should I use the one that I sent originally with my application?

    Thank you,

    Luca

On my notice, the sentence continues and states in parenthesis at the end "unless already submitted." What I am doing is bringing a copy of my previously submitted I-864, along with my IRS tax transcript for 2018 that I did not have at the time of my original submission, and my most recent pay stubs.

Read through all listed in the notice letter and bring the listed...ensure you submit them.....bring all the forms you filled before during the initial filing although they won't ask for it...just to have at hand.
Also, bring all supporting document, most especially joint lease of your AOS is through marriage. Also anything that has both you and your spouse names on it.

Read through my post, it will help you in some kind of way.
        Good luck.

I864 is not need to re-fill, you already submitted during your initial filing.

              Thank you!!!

I have pretty much everything ready, I submitted our co-signed mortgage with the initial submission. We filed taxes together in February, so I'll add that to the binder as well. I have even too much documents at this point ... fingers crossed!

Good luck to everyone still waiting!
