Expedite Email from USCIS HELP!!

Hello guys!

I'm a Houston filer and i'm in the process of of an EAD C09 family adjustment of status (i-485 pending) renewal and its been way out of processing time 07/13/2018 and so i decided to give USCIS a call and i was able to get in contact with a TIER 2 officer and she was no help whatsoever all i was able to do was expedite my case for out of processing time which was on 04/23/2019. A couple of days later i received an email 04/29/2019 saying my case is under review and i will receive a decision shortly or notice of action. So my question is by shortly do they mean 1-2 weeks or in a couple of months? How long should i wait before i give them a call to check up on that email. Please share your experiences id really appreciate them! any advice helps as well!

I'm sorry, but there is no time frame for expedites
it's another waiting game. I've been reading this forum for almost 1 year and some expedites get solved quickly and some take forever. Sometimes they don't even give you an update on the status of your expedite request.
But maybe you're one of those cases where they get solved quickly! You can give them a call again on Monday just to check on them.
Did they ask for reason/proof for expedite?

When you expedite via USCIS level 2 officer. You will get an email or response via mail asking you to provide evidence of financial hardship before your EAD renewal can be approved. Have you gone for an interview yet and when?

I was among the lucky bunch..mine was approved within 2 weeks after expedition. You just have to call these guys everyday and they see your call log and remarks left by last officer thus they follow up from there. Am so tired,stressed,emotionally,psychologically tired of this process.

No reason at all the tier 2 officer just said that she will put a request to expedite and i will get an email which is the one that said they will make a decision shortly.
i really hope so! she also said that these waiting times are very normal and we shouldn't base our waiting time on what the website processing times displays

Wow that's great to hear i hope i'm that lucky! Tell me about it i'm so drained! its been 2 years since i applied for the green card and they just keep telling me to wait
