October filer, no update on EAD

    October filer, no update on EAD

    I765 was received on October 12th, 2018. No updates since then. I485 changed on April 1 as Ready to be scheduled for interview.
    It is been 202 days!!!!
    It doesn't let me expedite as they say the maximum waiting period is 7 months which will end on May 12th.
    Any idea what's going on? Is there any chance of rejection? Please share your ideas. Thanks.

    * 05/22/19 - Combo Card in hand

      My PD is 10/31 and I got my EAD on 04/20!

            My PD is 10/15, LA filer, no updates either. However it is good to see that it appears NBC is processing i765s as of October 9, 2018 (this date seems to be moving) or it could be that is just the date for an inquiry. Anybody can chime in? I am hopeful though that there is some activity that we are not seeing...

                According to the tracker, not really. Most I-765 around mine are still waiting.

                    No, there's still a lot of us who filed in September waiting. 9/27 here. Day 218 as of this writing.

                      Once NBC processes cases based on your PD you probably should call them to raise a service request. My husband's PD is 9/27/19 (Washington DC field office) and his case got approved on 3/18/19, but he only got his EAD on 4/29/19. NBC is taking forever to process these EAD cards and the dates keep moving back when I was still checking...I also saw a lot of people writing in this forum and I noticed that it was taking people who were filing for a replacement longer than the people who were filling for the 1st time, which makes me think if they are giving priority to the cases that people are requesting EAD for the first time. My husband requested his 1st EAD btw and it took him 6 months to get the approval and 7 months to get the actual card

                        Hello,
                        I am seeing some people got their interview scheduled and some still waiting for it like me. I just checked the USCIS web site for the I-485 processing time and it got pushed back to February 10, 2017 for Brooklyn. So my question is how did the gentleman from Brooklyn on this forum got the interview letter from the NBC service center and i didnt when my PD is kind of the same as his. I am kind of confused. Can anyone please help me out here.?

                          what i dont understand is how people that applied in january or even february already get theirs if people in September/October are still waiting?

                            I feel like it has a lot to do with your field office. Some of them are faster than others. I'm a Las Vegas filer and it's terrible here..big volumes and slow process. At least 1 year to get your interview scheduled.

                              I feel you my pd is 10/01/2018 never heard from 765 but my 485 is ready to be schedule as of feb 11,2019. It depends on which office unfortunately we have the NBC they do things SUPER SLOW
