Hello everyone,

I asked my cousin's husband to be my joint sponsor, so does his wife and he need sign the form or only the joint sponsor sign it?

Also, does I need to provide a proof of relationship between him and I (like writing a paragraph stating that he is my cousin in law)?

Only the joint sponsor needs to sign the form. Last year I asked my mother in law to be my joint sponsor, she filed her tax returns jointly with my father in law but only HER signed the form. She also gave me her latest joint tax return and her W-2.

And no, you don't need to provide proof of relationship.
