You mention no update until today. What update did you receive today? Or did you mean to date you haven't received any update?

I'm confused because you say it's been three weeks since the interview with no word, but you also say that you did hear from them today. It can't be both. You either have or you haven't heard from them.

Yes, it is normal not to hear from them for weeks after the interview. It is also normal to hear from them the same day, the following day, or months later. It all depends on your case and the office adjudicating your case. No two cases are alike.

Side Note: If you are using your real name as your screen name, you may want to consider changing it to protect your privacy.

Maybe the meaning is lost in translation. In other languages when you use "until today" it means that even today there are no changes.

I need advice in regards to my adjustment of status. I had an interview last two months but still waiting for a decision on my case. But I got a job offer in another state. My question is will it affect my immigration case if I accept the job offer and temporary move there for the job while my family remains in my current state(where my adjustment of status is pending). I will be coming back every two weeks to see my family until I make saves to move them too. I need help, please.
