Hi all,
I wanted to reach out to the community and inquire about your experiences with the I-693 for the AOS interview.
I finally got my interview scheduled for June 5, and am in the process of compiling all of the original documents. One of the key requirements is "a completed medical examination form I-693 and vaccination supplement in a sealed envelope, UNLESS already submitted within the last year). I submitted the I-693 form with my application last year (I-140/485 con-current filing), with the US civil surgeon signature dated to June 12, 2018, and the application received by USCIS on July 26, 2018.
Given the 1-year proximity of the interview date (June 5, 2019) to the completed and signed I-693 form on June 12, 2018, would you recommend I get another medical examination completed to be safe? I also don't know if the USCIS received date of July 26, 2018 is the relevant one at which point there is more of a buffer. I've heard a few "horror" stories related to expired I-693 examinations during the actual interview and wanted to see if anyone else had a similar experience of advice.
Much appreciated!
