05/10/19 - Case update stating that card was mailed on May 10th

Interview was at 11:45am.
Entered building at 11:15am.
Started interview at 12:10PM
Left interview at 12:35pm
Overall the interview went fine. Got in and said an oath. He asked for my husband and I social security cards and drivers license, my EAD card ( gave him the new one I got in the mail Saturday and the one I had for OPT stem), my husbands naturalization certificate and my passport.
He confirmed the information on my i485 form ( names dates and the whole checklist of yes or no). He then asked us how we met and we gave him a timeline from first meeting to proposal. He asked if I had any additional proof of marriage other than those I submitted. We had home and car insurance as well as a cell phone bill. He went through our wedding album and general album and asked us to pick out photos to give to him.
Overall the process was quick and easy. He said it was the easiest interview he had all day.
Also i put all of our documents into an accordion folder and organized it.
Final Point
1. We prepared our AOS packets ourselves. We initially went to lawyer for a free consult who made us away that I could change my last name on SSN card even though I couldn't change it on my drivers license. So we did all of this in January. we also realized that we couldn't afford a lawyer (minimum was $3500 and we did look around at multiple lawyers). My case was extremely easy (no crime, always was in status, first marriage, no kids). So we decided it was be okay to complete process ourselves
