No status update after "We have taken an action on your case"

Hi~ My RD for I485 and combo card is 4/29/2019. After getting NoA and registering for email alert, I have received two uscis emails saying "we have taken an action on your case" (5/9/2019 and 5/14/2019). After checking my account, there's no update at all since 5/3 (receipt). Is this normal? What could the "action" be for so early in the process? I haven't received fingerprint notice yet. Thank you!

Try checking the status using the public site https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do my account hasn't updated since November "fingerprint complete" and I had my interview already. My uscis account stopped updating and the texts are not current.

Yes its normal, and status updates are sometimes not accurate. My status is stuck on case received, yet I have my interview on Monday. I suspect that the action taken may be your bio appointment. Keep an eye on your mailbox. Sign up for USPS Informed Delivery if it is available in your zip code.
