Am I eligible to expedite my EAD?

I am currently working on an EAD which expires in a little under two months. I am in a pretty important role at my company, managing a project that has been promised to some clients on a certain timeline. USCIS received my application in late February. If my EAD expires before my new one, it would be very disruptive for my company, but they would hold my position.
Would this disruption make me eligible to apply for an expedited application?

Talk to your employer and see if they're willing to write a letter that says losing you would cost them money. Or if have evidence that you'll experience financial hardship if you lose your job - then you can apply for an expedite as well.
