Am i eligible to file for I-485 and EAD if my priority date is not current

Hi All,

I got approved my EB1A I140 petition in 2019 and priority date for filing I-485 is 2017. Is it possible to apply for a EAD in this situation? Can i also file for a I-485 if the priority date is not current?

No, you cannot file I-485 in a month where your priority date is after the date on USCIS's AOS filing chart. You cannot get an AOS-based EAD if you don't file I-485.
