F2A,Still waiting to get an interview scheduled after Priority Date is current

Hi All,

Our priority date has become current in May visa bulletin for F2A category and an interview has not been scheduled yet. When we called USCIS, L2 officer said that your case is still in normal processing times when she was looking for I-485 processing times for Chicago field office. When we said that our priority date has become correct then we should get an interview scheduled. She said that you need to wait for it since your i-485 is in normal processing time even though your I-130 date has become current. I am not sure what should I do now? Do I have any other option rather than waiting? it's been 2 years and 4 months.

I don't think you can do anything if your submit your I-485 after October 26, 2016 (that's the date Chicago shows for FB adjustments today). Once your date is older than what they put there, then you can submit an “outside normal processing time” service request online. I hope you get your interview soon.
