  • No Biometrics mail yet

    Hey guys.

so im a May filer. i shipped my Documents on May 13 and it got to the Chicago office at May 16. On May 21 i received a txt msg from USCIS with 4 different case numbers (MSC). A week
after i received the 4 letters in my mail. I have not received any mail yet regarding my Biometrics. I noticed a lot of people getting their letter for Biometrics a week after usually.
Has this happened to anyone and should i try and call them in case it got lost?

Btw does anyone know how to log in the website to see the status of your applications? I didnt receive any instructions in any of the 4 letters on how to do so.
    Thank You

      The USCIS info determines following
Preparing for Your Biometric Services Appointment
After you file your application, petition or request, we will schedule your biometric services appointment at a local Application Support Center (ASC) if you need to provide your fingerprints, photograph, and/or signature. Your appointment notice (Form I-797C, Notice of Action) will include the date, time and location for your ASC appointment.

The biometrics you provide during your ASC appointment allow USCIS to confirm your identity and run required background and security checks.

Note: USCIS has the general authority to require and collect biometrics (fingerprints, photograph, and/or digital signature) from any applicant, petitioner, sponsor, beneficiary, or other individual residing in the United States for any immigration and naturalization benefit. See 8 CFR 103.2 (b)(9).

And we think if you have not received your mail yet then contact USCIS

I don't have the exact same situation, but I can say that sometimes it takes USCIS a while to send letters out. I applied in March and didn't get any of my letters (either receipts or biometrics) until May. I would say calling and asking about the Biometrics letter would be a good idea at this point.

Sometimes it takes a couple of weeks after the receipts. Some rare cases a month or more. If you call and talk with L1 officer, they will say that you have to wait up to 60 days to get the appointment (from what I read). I hope you get your letter soon.
