Hello June Filer!
My credit card just charged. $ 1225 + $535 last Friday June 21 after my docs received at the Chicago Lock box last June 18,2019.
Waiting for the E-notification kick in from USCIS as I don't receive any text or e-mail yet .Maybe its weekend.

Wow, that was fast. Some people reporting that no charge in 3 weeks or a month. They said that they will start making changes to process the cases faster, maybe they already started?

Hi June filers, I saw some of your applications were taken care of several days after your package was delivered, which is really great. But my application was delivered to Chicago lockbox and signed for even earlier (on June 3rd), but I've not yet heard anything back from USCIS as of today (it has been 3 weeks since the delivery): no text message notices, no mails, and my check has not been cashed. I was wondering why. Might it be because my spouse as my petitioner/sponsor is a permanent resident rather than a citizen? Are all of you whose application has been taken care of quickly have a citizen sponsor/petitioner? Please share, thanks.

What is your PD? If your spouse is a permanent resident you have to wait for the PD to come current. to file for AOS. I did not know that and di concurrent filing at first. But they kept the i130 and sent everything else back. But now my PD is current under the Visa Bulletin. Also, did you include the right fees?

I also haven’t received my receipt yet. It’s been almost 4 weeks now.

Sent my package via USPS (Chicago office) 5/30/19
Package received 6/01/19

Silence since then. I keep checking if they cashed my check for $1225 but no.
What gives?

I'm in the same boat, my AOS was delivered same day as yours and petitioner (wife) is a LPR but my PD was current ~sigh~ Let's wait and see !!

Thanks for your response. Yes, my PD for I-130 has become current (my PD is July, 2018), and I am eligible to file AOS this month. So I filed I-485 on June 1st, and my application was received on June 3rd. More than 3 weeks have passed, and USCIS does not seem to have started to process my application. But it could be because my PD for I-130 is later than yours?

What did you include in your AOS package ? did you send the correct fee ? I know I did send an extra g-1450 for my I-765 which is not needed (didn't read everything) so I know there's an error and probably the cause of my delay ....... but who knows !!

Thanks. I sent $1225, which seems to be correct. So the wrong payment does not seem to the reason for the delay. I've heard that they will return the wrong check and ask for one with correct amount of payment. But I don't know for sure either.

I think you may have sent the wrong fees. Because you only need $1225 for i485 thats it. You do not need to pay for i765 and i131 if you are paying for i485. It is in the special instructions section of the form i485. Hope that helps. So you might receive your package back for wrong fees. And in your case $1225 for i485, and $1000 for i485 sup. So you paid extra for i765.

Hi- I filed for I-485 in May 2019. Quickly realized that I did not file I-765 (EAD). I waited for the Receipt of Notice of I-485 and sent in my I-765 petition. I added the Credit Card authorization for $410 because it was done separate from I-485. Filing date was 6/8. Till date (6/25) I have not received any notice, nor the funds been taken out. I filed at the Chicago Lockbox (same location as I-485, I-130).

Do you think I shouldn't have sent the filing fee? Or there could be another reason?

Actually- The instructions aren't very clear for the category c(9) based on pending I-485. From the instructions below:

1. Adjustment Applicant under Section 245--(c)(9). File Form I-765 together with Form I-485, Application to
Register Permanent Residence or Adjust Status, or if filing separately, submit a copy of your I-485 receipt notice or
other evidence that your Form I-485 is pending.
NOTE: If you are an asylee or refugee and have applied to adjust to lawful permanent resident status on Form I-485,
file Form I-765 under category (a)(5) as an asylee or (a)(3) as a refugee. Do not file under eligibility category (c)(9).
You will need to pay the filing fee or obtain a fee waiver for Form I-765 if your Form I-485 is still pending with
USCIS and this is not your first EAD as a refugee or asylee and you did not pay the Form I-485 filing fee for any
reason.
